Revision

Revision is much more effective when done in chunks, rather than marathon sessions.

Take regular breaks - 15 minutes every hour is a good rule of thumb.

Don’t waste time constantly refining your ‘perfect’ revision timetable - plan out which topics to do when and STICK TO IT!

Hint: If you have scheduled every minute of the day, or if your timetable includes things like “brush teeth” ... you will not be able to stick to it!  Be realistic!

Learning Styles
It is always a good idea to figure out what your preferred learning style is.  This is just a sensible way of playing to your strengths.  Many people try to revise by re-reading their notes - this often has no effect other than to send you to sleep, or into a panic because you still don’t know the material!
There is a lot of useful information on the internet about learning styles and “multiple intelligences”, and many sites which offer tests to help you determine your “profile” or style.  There are free tests available out there, but many sites will then try to sell you personalised reports which they claim will help you to succeed, so be careful!
Here (in a .pdf document) is a basic but quite helpful grid to help you determine your primary style.  This site is also very useful and has lots of good advice & ideas, once you have answered their questions to indicate your style.
