These are the awkward pairs and groups of words that sound the same but are spelt differently. You probably learnt to tell the difference in primary school. Or perhaps not, as many of these errors were not corrected or marked wrong in your work previously. If you do have a problem with these, it’s best to practise using the right one by forming sentences with them in. It feels a bit babyish, but it shouldn’t take you many sentences or recitations of which is which before you’ve got it sussed. It’s just not worth losing marks over.
