Here are some websites that might be helpful in gathering ideas or giving you advice:

 

Prospects is a graduate careers website.  It might help you to see what’s available to people with the degree you’re thinking about.

UCAS is of course necessary for university applications, but also for finding courses in the first place, and there are links to university websites from there.

Connexions is useful for careers advice, information on courses and apprenticeships, as well as personal advice (e.g. on health and relationships)

The student room has advice pages and forums covering all aspects of student life

This apprenticeships site is the place to search for apprentice placements (unsurprisingly!)  There are some advanced apprenticeships that you need A-levels to go on, it’s not just for 16 yr olds.
